Free pickup off I-30 in Caddo Mills, any day from 8am to midnight. Free delivery in the Dallas area on orders of $100 or more. Fort Worth delivery is $25.
What Wylie venues tend to be like
A mix of lakeside spots and newer purpose-built event spaces. The newer ones usually have a written sparkler policy, which helps more than it sounds: you can read it instead of negotiating over the phone.
28 inch does well here. Long enough to matter, short enough to clear the caps the newer venues tend to set.
Check the Collin County burn ban before an outdoor send-off
Wylie sits in Collin County. In Texas the county commissioners court issues burn bans under Local Government Code §352.081, not the city and not your venue. During a dry spell most of the state sits under one.
Whether a ban covers hand-held sparklers comes down to the wording of that county's order, and the orders differ. We will not tell you your send-off is fine when the answer varies by jurisdiction. Two minutes of checking settles it.
- Look up Collin County on the Texas A&M Forest Service burn ban map.
- If there is an active ban, read the order or call the county. Ask about hand-held sparklers specifically, not "fireworks".
- Tell your venue what you found. A coordinator who has not checked will thank you.
Texas A&M Forest Service burn ban map
Violating a county burn ban is a Class C misdemeanour. This is general information about how the orders work, not legal advice about your event.
Ask your venue two questions
Before you pick a length, ask your Wylie coordinator whether sparklers are permitted and whether there is a maximum. Those two answers decide the order. Venues vary widely: some allow 36 inch without comment, some cap at 20, some say no.
Tell us which venue you are using and we will tell you what we have seen there. If we do not know, we will say so instead of guessing.

Will my Wylie venue allow sparklers?
Ask your coordinator before you order, and ask two things. Whether sparklers are permitted at all, and whether there is a maximum length. A venue that caps at 20 inches has chosen your product for you. If the answer is no outdoors as well as in, better to find that out now than on the day.
How many will I need?
Roughly one per guest who lines up, plus about ten per cent for the ones that will not catch. The calculator does the arithmetic.
